Ards Cricket Club 3rd XI v CSNI VI on Sun 03 Jul 2011 at 12 noon
Ards Cricket Club Won by 6 wickets

Match report Ards did the double over CSNI, with a 6 wicket win at sunny Londonderry Park.
The visitors won the toss and batted, but despite a slightly stronger team than the previous Sunday they were restricted to 131 for 9 in their 30 overs, with the young number 3, Thallon (39), again proving difficult to dislodge, while two of the three Hamiltons playing, scored 26 and 27 respectively. Tim Carson continued his fine form with the ball; Shamu also bowled well and Craig Devlin put in an economic spell without the reward of a wicket. However some agricultural shots by the tail end retrieved the visitors' score from 89 for 7 and gave them a reasonable total to defend.
Ian Farley, though, had different ideas, again punishing their attack, putting away every short or bad ball, to record a second successive half century against them. His 71 laid the foundation for what was a comfortable win in the end, in the 25th over.
